1. Who We Are

TranslateAI («we», «us», «our») is an AI-powered document translation service operated at ai.perevod4.ru. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: name, email address, password hash (bcrypt).
Documents: files you upload for translation. They are stored encrypted in object storage (S3/MinIO) and are accessible only to you.
Usage data: token consumption, translation history, document metadata (file name, size, language pair).
Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, access timestamps — collected automatically for security and service stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the translation service.
To authenticate your identity and maintain your account.
To count token usage and enforce plan limits.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal data or documents to third parties.

4. AI Processing

Your documents are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to perform translation. Document content is sent to Anthropic's servers solely for the purpose of generating a translation. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to that processing. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded documents and translated files are stored for 30 days after the last access, then permanently deleted. You may delete your documents at any time from your dashboard. Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion upon request.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). Files are stored with server-side encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Access to production systems is restricted and logged.

7. Third-Party Services

Anthropic Claude API — AI translation engine.
Google OAuth — optional sign-in method.
S3 / MinIO — encrypted file storage.
Redis — job queue and session caching (no personal data stored).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and all associated data.
Export your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
